Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan Movie Review

AAA is by Adhik Ravichandran who hit the bull’s eye with Trisha Illena Nayanthara and when the news of him joining hands with Simbu broke out; all expected AAA to be a riot in the truest sense.

AAA is a Simbu film, this statement would be a mere understatement, because it is so much an overdose of Simbuisms that it turns out into a ridiculous “Cracko-biography” of STR. The movie begins comically takes a funny break and ends disastrously. It is very evident for the viewer through the movie that there is no hope or respite and the only relief would be the exit door.

It’s a STR movie and Simbu is all over the place, mouthing cringe worthy, sexist dialogues that only he can write and can speak. Targetted at a miniscule following of his, he goes about trying to impress them the only way he can. Shortly put, he overdoes himself. Shriya after a long break is cast in an ordinary role while Tamannah in the second half decides to shake off the Bahubali effect in skimpy clothes and “to the gallery” dance moves. YG, Mahendran insults himself in a “shocking” role while others do their bit to prolong this farce.

Cinematography by Krishnan Vasant is sub standard, while Yuvan saves the movie from crashing down with some OK stuff. Dialogues are a pain while direction is a mess all over.

AAA is as narcissist as the name suggests and deserves a place only in the shelf of STR’s home library.
